      Hello !

This WP is to Karl Kokott, born 5.9.1913 in Creuzthal, district Oppeln (Schlesien).
His civil profession was : Modelltischler (I don't know what this is).
Typical for his agegroup, he made at least 2 short time trainings prior to WW 2 in 1938 and 1939.

He was drafted again at the start of WW 2 (the exact date would be interesting for me)
and then, as a member of Aufkl.Abt. 7 (part of 7. Inf.Div.) fought in Poland, France and Russia.
      http://lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Glie...sionen/7ID.htm

His unit was a recon company, equipped with bicycles and underwent various changes in designation.

From 1.9.40 - 20.3.41 he sent on Wi.(rtschafts) Urlaub (p. 26), (a leave to work for the economy).

He was awarded the Sturmabzeichen and on 1.12.41 was severely wounded, and finally died 2 days later.

A few remarks, if you don't mind :
      a) the most important page in a WP is usually p. 12, which list the units (which is missing here).
Things are much easier if you show this page. It would also reveal, when he was drafted again, which
would be real interesting for me !

      b) The WP #3 that you have shown here :
      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru....php?t=1031129
is slightly related, as it is also to a member of the "weisse Jahrgänge" (a term used for soldiers that did not serve in WW 1,
but were too old for the regular drafts from 1935 onward.
This man had 4 different traing exercises prior to the war, was promoted to Gefreiter, but obviously was never drafted after that.

      c) This leads me to the question, what is your main interest in these Wehrpasses?!
It might be possible to give some advice on what pages to look for, what you are after.
(Of course this is only intended as an offer to help, not as a "spying" attempt !)

      Best regards,

      Archi
