    Juncker EK1 for evaluation

I really think this is a good and early Juncker with 3-flaw (crunch bead) frame and brass/tombak core.

But as I've lately encountered too many problematic pieces both on official dealers' webshops as on sales by expert collectors (), I'll only feel safe if a combination of experts give their approval.

Is it a crunch bead frame?
Could you describe the core? Is it a brass wide frame Schinkel core? Or another type/manufacturer's core?

Many thanks again for your opinion!

I found the answers here in a thread of nearly 4 years ago: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=792221

Does the core have some identifiable characters? Eg WFS core or ... ?

Yes, it is the Juncker '3-flaw, crunch-bead' frame.

Yes a 3 flaw frame early Juncker with still lots of frame lacquer left (rubbed off on the corners) and a WFS brass core .

Why sell it if you loved it that much?
              To buy more EK2 examples?

                  Ok, I understand.

                  I own 3 Juncker EK1 now:
                  - this crunch bead frame with brass (WFS) core
                  - a crunch bead frame with magnetic W&L core
                  - a common L/12 frame with magnetic W&L core, marked L/12

Now still a full WFS EK1 and I’ll then have the most important variants.

Every ones definition of ' important ' is different .
                    I would include the 'pillow arm ' EK2 and EK1 .
