    KVK1 - Karl Gschiermeister (50)

    Hi guys,

Here is a new addition to my KVK1 collection, a Karl Gschiermeister. According to Dietrich's KVK1 book, this appears to be the "different" pattern based on the pebbling on the obverse. Hardware setup is consistent and textbook with other examples shown in the book and the maker mark has the curved incuse box like the 1st and 3rd examples shown in the book page 211.

So what are the thoughts on these crosses, how rare are they compared to the "normal" version and are these tied to wartime provenance?

    Thanks

    Tom

In my collection I only have one bronze KVK with swords and One KVK silver with swords.
I don´t collect them but just want to have one of each.

I say that you have found a very nice good KVK here.
    Not often seen.
