Like to hear your opinion about this KC.....fake or?
It has a 3-piece magnetic core.

It's a nice filler, and it looks pretty convincing.

Far better than 90 % of the fakes out there.

The dipping suspension ring has been filed back to make it look sort of S&L at a very first glance, but the nup nor the 800 stamp. What the others said though, that's a nice filler

S&L was my first thought also. Indeed because of the suspension ring but also because of the innercores, they also match with S&L. Frame has also the dents in the 3 o clock arm , a bit worn away but still visible. But the letters, the 3 and the 9´s and indeed the 800 mark does not match at all.

I was wondering about the rust veins? Does someone know what the time span is to develop?

At least I am happy with the outcome.....a "nice filler" instead of a "fishing lure"

Bad surface preparation, insufficient coating and humidity : a few months.....

That is indeed a rapid development, so no indication for a period determination!

                      Thank you for explaining....much appriciated

                        You're welcome!

                        It sure is fast.
Very hard to say, but it doesn't take years ...

To complete the story of this "filler".... I had to add this photo
The Swastika is on a pedestal.

Interesting. That doesn’t show up in the earlier photos

No.....that is why I show it now. If you take a good look at the earlier photos you can see the swastika is higher on the core. The flash light shows the contours better.
It is a low pedestal, but it is there
