Is this the original EK2 ?

I bought this EK2 at Japanese auction.
There are no marking of number indicating manufacturer at the ring.
It looks like very old. This was very dirty when I got, so I cleaned up by a eraser.
The magnet attracts this Ek2.
I don't know if there is an unmarked EK2.
Please write your opinion.

K&Q has a very typical "3" in the date, that gives it away

Welcomb to the forum :
Yes an early K&Q that would not be marked ... any mark would be on the ribbon ring usually as a small number .- often hard to see .
Careful when cleaning - better ask if not sure - sometimes it helps to clean but it also can cause more damage .
Heavy patina is only natural and sought after by many collectors .
A larger look at the cross .
