Request Opinion - EK1 mystery maker

    Hello Folks -
I've had this EK1 in my collection a LONG time and have pulled out of storage. It's in an early case (metal hinged with lock device, cross on top). However, there are no maker's marks on this cross (on pin or below latch) and I am trying to determine the manufacturer. It has a magnetic core. Based on looking at references, I am thinking it is an unmarked Deumer cross. .... but I am not totally sure and I am requesting the opinions of others! Attached are some photos. Please let me know if better pics are needed! Thanks in advance, Dan

I’m in agreement with you, an early Deumer. Very nice.

          THanks

Thank you gentlemen! … I am still learning all the maker variations, so I appreciate you grading my homework on this one! Regards, Dan

            Deumer, for sure.

Note the "1939" running "uphill". Classic Deumer trait

I have an L/11 marked Deumer in the same box, core is exactly the same as yours.

As allready stated a good Deumer.

For future reference. When you post pictures, please use straight on photos of front and back. Not angled shots. It makes it a lot easier.
