    EK2 without MM - K&Q?

    Hey gents,

here I have a new EK2 without MM again. My first thought was K&Q.
    What do you think?

    Many thanks and greets!

    It's an Otto Schickle.
The usual next question about the core material is unnecessary, it's the steel core. The steel core is the more common of the two core materials (steel and zinc) encountered on Schickles.

hí Douglas ,sorry my friend but I don't agree with you
Otto Schickle not made brass inner core ,just iron & non-mag zinc types

this look only suggests a copper look, but it is not
this is just a gold colored primer ,but the inner core magnetic

              Hi Sanya :
Trying to catch up on the put aside posts - sorry I missed this one :
After going through my crosses I found what caused my mix up .- wrong attached description to that EK2 .
              I actually have 3 Otto Schickle EK2s -- 1 magnetic and 2 not magnetic .
As you mentioned .... the brass covered core is actually magnetic ... which I have checked . ... corrected the comparison posted above earlier .
Maybe I can determine what the non-magnetic cores are made of .

yes my friend THX , but I found it earlier yet another inner core variant ( this the type I haven't seen another ever since then )

this on the inner core thinner the swaztika and not same the date number on the back side

It might be the same as my 3rd one .
