WHOA! Who said there was anything wrong with this??!! I said that the kleins tend to have a gap in the hypotenuse of the "4" and the flaw in the superior portion of the "9", while the zimmerman flaw is more right. Some contend that the wreaths for kleins and zimmermans are IDENTICAL. There appears to be some subtle differences on the wreaths of the kleins and zimmermans. Are these consistent identifiable differences or within the "wiggle room" that is acceptable within the very same wreath? This has not been addressed and perhaps a separate thread about the differences (or lack of ) in the zimmerman and klein DKiGs should be started.

That would have been a good suggestion several posts ago.

It would be nice to see that on the original cross posted. The discussion then switched to a zimmerman. As you have noted before, Ivan, the fakes seem to fail on the shape of the 134 stamp.

Here again the date of a genuine Klein. As can be seen the flaw extends also into the 9.

The flaw is a clear step in the manufacturing process of the date part. A step visible in the "9" as well as in the "4".

Unfortunately I don't own a Zimmermann since I'm absolutely convinced I could determine whether the wreath is from the same sourrce/supplier or not.

Thanks Robert. That is why I asked for a better picture, as the one that Patrice posted has a blurred "3" and "4". Thanks

As Patrice said: "...This is the best that my digital camera can do...". But, even from this blurred picture you may see differences...or maybe my eyes are "fooling" me? On the other hand, please remember that Patrice got the COA from Bill.<o =""></o>
