    Patrice,
Ok, some good news! Please go here to check the "zoom on date"!

To be honest with you, I have looked at the "134" mark and they seem identical.

I had to clean it a bit because it had to much patina, but the far left side of the "4" actually touches the curve on the "3"..............just like in the example showned.

        Patrice,
please check the picture. "Your" date is first from the left. Tell me what do you think!

The only thing that I'm seeing is the "1" on the far right, may be a bit larger.

It is very confusing because here's the link to an original one and the numbers looks very much like mine.

            Correct ?
Correct! And “yours” digits "1" are slightly thicker (at least on the pictures).<o =""></o><o =""></o>

                    Gentlemen,

Just got the badge back from Bill Shea and I'm happy to say that the badge is 100% original.

Will keep Bill's certificate of authenticity to avoid any future problems.

One more time Bill Shea proved to be the best for the job.....among few others of course.

1's look identical to me, even the *dip* half way up the 1. Glad to hear the badge is original, a real nice one too.

Did Zimmermann use the same wreath? I just received one with Detlev's expertise from a forum member with the exact same flawed date as that shown on the right in Robert's photo--20 marked pin, etc.

Erich, it is my understanding that they did not use the same wreath.
They both used their own seperate mold.
The differences are quite minute and may be difficult to see at first.
However, coming from Detlev, I wouldn't be worried about it.
Perhaps you could compare yours with this Zimmer's original ?
Took the pic from the forum section.
