    Souval screwback wartime / post war

    A while back i read that Souval didnt make EK1 screwbacks post war.
    That would make all Souval EK1 screwbacks wartime pieces.

    Is this generally the accepted opinion? Or did Souval also make screwbacks postwar ?

    I think they also made screw back's post war according to some EK collectors.

          I sold Souval repros in the 60's and yes they did make SB cross repros.

              Back then if you knew Souval like I knew him you could ask him to put together a cross with orig. parts if he had them(back then he had a ton of spair parts) and he would.He put together for me a German cross in gold riveted not glued like the common ones he sold out of orig. parts and it looked great.I had known experts at gun shows back then tell me it was orig. and they would like to buy it from me.
