Another point, during the war, spanish volunteers only used german-made crosses. All the spanish crosses were massive produced after war (50', 60' and 70') and were offered for military shops to anybody that wanted to buy them. There are many more crosses out there than spanish volunteers.

There is not much mystery in the matter: years ago, more EKI was made than necessary and now this little treasure has appeared in the basement of a military effects store. Different variants were manufactured with the same mold ...The EKII can be a low cost version or a prototype, who knows.
