War Merit Cross with Swords.....opinions please.

Hi Everyone,
Can you please comment on this WMC with Swords. The outer rim edges of the medal do not seem to be the same thickness all round and the overall detail is not as precise as many I have seen. Is it a fake or just a poorly made example. I can find no makers name on it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

this looks very bad... I would not buy it ... I am not an expert on KVK2 though.. maybe late war.. but the details and date looks awful

I agree with Yubari, it looks terrible. Maybe an original that has been spinning in a washingmachine for a year or so, but I doubt it. You don't see many fakes of this medal, and most are easy to spot because of poor quality. It's a fairly cheap medal, so buy a good tombak example if you want one.

Considering there are probably a gazillion of these things on the market, why bother with something even remotely suspect?

A bad fake. Steer clear. You can pick a real one up for $30-$50.
