Eisernes Kreuz - L59 marked, authentic?

    Good day all,

I would like to share my L/59, which I believe to be the 3rd pinback version (EK1 DNA website). I do have some concerns regarding the white areas on the corners of the frame. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not the best pictures but look ok to me.

The "white areas" could be left over residue from polishing cream or similar. But i am just guessing now. Hard to tell from the pictures.

Would love to see a photo of the extra marking on the back.

Nothing wrong with those pictures. Many members can't do that good.
I would use a very soft brush to remove what ever that white stuff is.
It's a fine looking piece and you should be proud of it. Thanks for showing.

Thank you Ken, I will try the soft brush idea.
