Opinions on EK2 with strange "flat" font on the back

May I have your opinions about this EK2 ?
Seems good according to me (3 parts, magnetic core). No mm on the ring.

But the "1813" date seems flat, compared to regular EK2 ?

this is an original and typical cross to maker 27 if I am not mistaken from these angle pictures.
