        The data are correct, except the one for the Oakleaves. It is a so-called Fellgiebel award. Look up V. Scherzer, no official paper trace for F. Hack.
        But that does not matter here in this case since the items are not original anyway. I hope you can give it back!

          Yup, having the biographical details doesn’t mean what you have is real. I initially posted a question about the date and then cleared it. Other than that, I don’t think the document is original.

            your cross is original but unfortunately not a "real" knights cross. Actually it is a so called "Übergröße" Iron Cross 2nd class, that was modified by a jeweller, obviously to fool someone. If you measure it, you will see that it is slightl smaller than a RK: 47x47mm.


            The oakleaves are fake as well, so is the document, sorry.

                    Regardless of your present picture showing dimensions it is still not a original RK. It is still a EK2 that has been dicked with. You need to try and see if you can return it.
