Hello, I'm looking for information I can't find the answer to.
I know there were about 300,000 recipients for the 1st class cross.
do we include the people who received the spanges?
Also I assume that out of the number of recipients of the WW1 First Class Iron Cross (about 218,000) many did not participate in the Second World War (death, age, disability).
So my question is how many first and second class spange recipients were there during the second war?
Sorry for my bad English
