Not sure what I’m missing here but to my eyes that is a genuine cross. I would like to see some better pics of the maker mark but from these photos that looks good also.

There you really is no need for any better Pictures. Just look at it...lack of Detail everywhere. Nothing i would touch. One of Staegemeiers Works of Art found its way over the big Lake....

Hmmmm and i bet that is Staegemeir Junk Anyway, just my Opinion, if you like that Thing i am fine with that too. Just a Spain Cross, nothing i go in the Trenches for.

I have a few examples of this type of cross on file.
Many with believable wear (like this example) and carvings on the backside.
I know you have to be careful because everything can be faked, but i believe this is a messed with original. The stamp looks bogus based on those crap pictures.
If it's pretending to be a juncker… than it's a fake. But i do believe the cross itself is original, leaving the maker mark aside.

Stamp was first what made me stop, looking a bit longer, the hole Cross is nothing i would want, and the wear, to me not look that real. But, as always, nothing is impossible in our Hobby.....

That cross has another set-up Chay, for sure not Juncker quality. Where do you see the dome head pin on a Juncker cross?
The type that started this thread, without maker mark, has been discussed many times before with no definite outcome.
