EK2 mm 24 maker with additional marks

    Hí guys
I've been long watching for a while that that the crosses of this manufacturer are usually frequent and easy to find ,but when the ordinary 24 mm next to have a additional sign too ,then the cross condition not the best in condition or those pieces very very hard to find in good condition.

what can be the reason for this ?

if you have such or similar piece please share on the side

    a example : mm 24 with WR

Not sure why most of these marked ones have such core rust problems .

True - marked 24s are quit difficult to find with nice core paint .
Early made 24s do not have that core rust problem .

It is not a "WR" but a "WB" - most likely W. Behrens - Schmuckwarenfabrik, Hanau, a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft.

Unfortunately the " additional sign " here neither not total, and the mm 24 too , just partial
