Hi it is a S&L KC. Have you got a close up of the 800 mark on it? I can't help with the case . But the cross has nice frosting on it. Cliff

Looks like a good S & L 800 4. Better images would help to confirm.

For the current price an absolute steal. Not sure it will stay that way

14 days until bidding ends. Wait until a couple of wealthy knuckleheads get to fighting over this and the price will go through the roof. I have better sense then to bid on this lot. These may or may not be wartime pieces. I'll just wait and pick me up a good used RK at the flea market.

The RK has an anomaly in the that the reverse frame, rather than the front frame, has the inner edges notched to better fit around the swastika. It's a simple error in the assembly process, but at least was caught before the markings were applied. I have seen S&L crosses (including "A" versions) with this mistake several times before and actually have one where the notched areas are on the reverse, but the markings are on the front!

This IS a wartime cross and IMO likely came before the '935-4' version.

I was going to post this but I couldn't figure out how to take their damned thumbnail pictures and enlarge them without having anything more then a blur of pixels.
                      Maybe somebody could educate me??
                      Please??

I wonder how high it will go? Perhaps someone here will buy it.

These tend to sell cheaper when a link isn't posted to the auction sale, but a decent price.
