That is not what is referred to as a rounder. The illustrated piece is a current fake that is not even symetrical, if you look at the 4 inner corners.
If I wanted a copy, I would find a nice old Souval. At least firma Souval sold many of their Knight's Crosses to former holders, after WWII. I heard this, many years ago, directly from Herr Umlauf, Managing Director of Roudold Souval, and have never had a reason to disbelieve this statement.
