Mayer repetition clasp cases

Hello everyone,
I have a few questions with regards to the casing of Mayer spanges. What is your opinion on the correct case type for L/18 marked EK1 spanges? I have searched the forums with poor results on photos / discussions on the casing of these marked variations.
I most commonly see the textured square cases with the stencilled eagle combined with unmarked spanges regardless of the hardware. However is it correct for these L/18 marked pieces to come in a 1st pattern LDO case or a stencilled type?

Furthermore, do these first pattern LDO cases have two sizes? One to accommodate EK1s and the other for EK1 spanges? Or were these used interchangeably?

The Mayer case if believed to be the one with the oblong button. If you are looking for a case look for one marked L/18. Jim

Thank you for the reply, yes I should have added that feature when describing the cases with the stencilled like emblem on the lid. Do you think these marked spanges ever came with cases consisting of the 1st pattern LDO emblem on the lid?

That I don't know. It is just a matter of watching cases that are being sold and hopefully one is stamped. Stamped cases are very hard to find. Jim
