Unmarked EK2

Ribbon ring has "lines" around. Never noticed this before on crosses.

no! It is like lines all around the ribbon ring.

Not common but we see these lines from time to time .
Found on rings of various makers -not sure what they are for if anything ?

some production defect maybe!

Here is the same raised lines on a Juncker EK2 .
My guess is - more ornamental .

Defect or production output of wire itself.
