ek2 maker?

Looking to start collecting german militaria so I figured I'd jump on the forum. I've had this for a while but haven't been able to figure out the maker. Looks kinda like a "2" followed by another character I can't decipher. (sorry for the crappy photos) Any ideas?

It is an original EKII, maker ‘24’. You’ll usually find a stamp on the small jump ring, the ring that connects the larger (ribbon) ring to the frame. I believe I can see the mark in the first photo. The mark may look like/resemble a small acorn. Nice start to your collection, btw.
