Zimmermann Knights Cross for opinions...

Hi all.

I'd like to get some opinions on this Zimmermann Knight's Cross. Seems ok to me, including the early oval ring with correct L/52 stamp, but I'm admittedly no expert on these, particularly this maker.

Yes, a dangerous fake, but a fishing lure nonetheless.

This one will cause problems in the coming years. Someone went to the trouble I’d of giving it a nice Zimmermann shaped loop, but still the thing is the “junker”. There seem to be an extra bead lines in the outer corners of the frames, but that may just be my quick look at my phone size images. One heck of a good $50 filler.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. This is a really nice looking cross, and certainly had me fooled. It's always best to get other opinions on something as rare and expensive as these.
