    DK in gold opinions

Hi ,think this a nice original apart from the small damage but as always prefer opinions .Cross is not mine but might decide if I can buy at right price.Which leads to second question as to value taking into account of the damage ?
    Thanks in advance.

Looks like a nice original but pricing based on condition is best left to those who frequency buy and sell.

1200 to 1500 euro , as low as that?
Thanks for your response.I'm not sure I will be able to buy it at that price.

Zimmermann is the most common DkiG maker. If your cross were mint and a heavy version it could be worth 1'8-2'1 €.....and I'm thinking in an experienced DK collector (not too many over there).

As an example, the last DKiG I acquire for my personal colecction was a Deschler (early) 14 rivets, short pin, mint condition and I payd 2'9 € for it.

With case of issue, plus 0'6-0'8 € (depens of the case and if it is mint or not).

But thats only my opinion. Lets wait to see what the others think.

                Thanks Ricardo.
There's no case with the cross to my knowledge. At over 64 gramm it isn't not one of the lightest types of DK's.I don't want to pay over the odds for a less than perfect DK but owner is asking 2.2000 euro and I have seen much better go for a lot less. The only difference is that this one is attributed to named soldier.Having said that unfortunately there's no provenance only his word that he bought it from the son of the recipient.I have bought from the dealer many times before and he's certainly very trustworthy.
I said I would make an offer but will take an average of what people here say and go from there.

Quite right Andy. Never one for listening to stories without good hard facts to back them up.
I might make an offer but from the value suggested at moment I think me and the dealer will be too far apart. Perhaps 1600 euro max is fair???
