                I agree with the others, a very nice original example.

                  Would it make the piece more original if another opinion is posted?

                  The question I see of higher importance is the color of the cloth. Why is nobody commenting?

                    At first I thought it was Pz black but looking at it again is seems dark green/black so perhaps a green backed version that was dyed black with a black tip marker.

                      What I always do is to lighten the photo to extreme. Look at the black swastika. The cloth is now more brown. But it does not show any bue (KM) or signs of coloring with a pen (too even). I tend to say it is black.

                        It is definately black, it might be my camera (phone) which tends to wash out colours.
                        The cross belongs to a friend of mine who picked it up at a local antiques fair . If you would like any further photos let me know and I'll borrow the Cross again.
