It came with group of awards on one soldier in case of 62 maker. But cross has no mm. Can it be unmarked 62? -
The cross you show is a unmarked example by Wiedmann. The major tell on this maker is the distinct hardware system. As far as KVK1s go this is a very difficult cross to come by. In the excellent book "The War Merit Cross 1. Class" by Maerz and Stimson there is no mention of these being made in zinc, only tombac. This cross does appear to be a zinc example.
