"Someone" was right! This spange is indeed a copy of the Schmidthaussler 1 class EK spange.These must be on sale somewhere because its the 3rd one posted for review in the last week or so

It is a fake, as Jean-Claude said and if you don't remember the design the pin on the back is a big red flag as no spange has this pin. Jim
