KVK2 Maker doubt ?

Hello,
I've bought a kvk2 w/o swords - Deschler & Sohn (not received yet), but when I look again at the pictures, I have a doubt.

The ring mark should read "1" for this maker, but the more I look at it, the less I see a "1"... maybe it's my eyes

May I have your opinions on it (only picture of the ring I have for the moment)

I think it could be a 7 ... for Meybauer . Often seen on rings incomplete like on EK2s .
Still a good chance of a 1 with the top missing ?

This is a picture of another KVK2 from Deshler taken for another website.
Of course, there is no doubt here.



Do you think that the mark could be so different for the same maker on same cross ?
In my item, there is like a square base beneath the number. In the other one, only the number.

Took this pic from great ek1-dna website. It seems to confirm my first though. There is not even a similarity ?



Anyway, now I'm not really happy with it. I will wait to receive it to take maybe better photos, and if there still a doubt, send it for refund.

Yes, don't look like a 7 according to me... Seems like a spike in a box...maybe a 1 quickly done... or not... ?
