L/18 Spanish Cross

I would like to share this cross for opinions !
It’s a bronze and I know little about them is it l/18 ?

I think it is L/16 but the pin looks unusual ?

Indeed it has a new pin which is bronzed to match the badge !
Came from the same estate as my mint high seas badge ! The veteran was a Royal Navy interpreter and was posted to Germany on dday plus four which I received evidence of !

Lack of finishing on the end of the pin screams postwar fix/replacement. No one would wear that on a uniform allowing that pin to tear at threads. All the work someone did to put it back on the badge but didn't at least grind out the end.

I don’t understand your comment ?
The pin has obviously been manufactured and fitted by a skilled person and then snipped on the end !
Impossible to say if either of these scenarios are wartime or not! But I don’t care
