I know the cross is common, I have had 30-40 pieces, but none of them were like this, hope you can see it on the photos. The booth rings are also frosted, approx 50 % is left and almost 100% on the cross itself. Seen it before?

Not too sure what you are asking about re: common, but this is a W&L if that is what you are asking 100% and nice too. Is it common for them to be in good shape with good frosting and good mirror finish left, I would say that this maker it is more common to find good ones in this shape when compared to other makers (Please note that I am a W&L Magent and these crosses in good shape seem to be drawn to me ). Of the now 20+ that I have in my collection almost all are in this condition or ++ from W&L. They sure made crosses to last with finish intact.
Your cross appears very nice, and has what I would consider above average finish for a W&L considering it's age. The Stone Mint ones are getting harder to find, next in line would be a W&L in this shape and then the ones with slightly more wear to the Frosting, and so on and so forth... Let me know if you tire of her. I have an opening for another W&L in my collection

Ahhhh, sorry I misunderstood the question. Of all my crosses only 1 ring is about 85-90% 3 other crosses are approx 80% intact frosting a few with 50% some with traces and the rest with none. From what I can tell of all the W&L's I own it was comon place for this firm to frost their Suspension rings and the Little Nubbin ont he 12 O'clock arm. Often this finish is worn off the ring on more worn examples as you can imagine the rubbing of the ribon took it off IMO. I would say that if you have a cross in the same shape as yours there is a good chance you will still have at least some frosting left on the suspension ring. But it was common practive for W&L to frost thier rings if that is whay you mean.
