Looks like very similar to one S&L, but honestly never seen one clamshell screwback.

It could be a zinc ( the seller declares Buntmetall) , It is sold on the internet with a very low price compared to the real rarity of the piece, always if it is original.

You've right about the clamshell, it appear original for me too.
