    New type of faKe DKiG?

I came across this DKiG on the web. As I looked at the features and detail I thought it looked more like a Juncker (hinge attached directly to back with no mounting disc, the shape of pin and catch. Also shows the same hand finishing around the edge of the back.) but Junckers are of course 5 rivets.

I looked at the maker mark and while it looked right, close scrutiny and cross reference showed this was not the case and did not match the originals.

Front shows nice details and very convincing!

Be careful out there!! I can see this one evolving over a short period of time!

Is it me or does that swas appear to be very high?

In fact it looks like it is just sitting on top of the white enamel.

I'm with you Allan, swastika arms extended too close to the rim and look to sit too high.

Thanks for posting that. Do you have some detailed close-ups of the date and wreath? Thanks!

Actually it is the same one.

I don't have any close-ups of the date or wreath. What you see here is all I have.

                            Hello,

thanks for the info ... but i think that this kind of fake can be unmasked, when you hold in your hands. The look ist nice but the "feeling" of the used material is bad.

Last weekend i had one of those Assman marked IAB fakes in my hands to inspect it ... and it had the same reverse material as the above shown german cross.

From good Photos: ... but in the hand a clear

I believe that there is a scratch on the reverse (about one o'clock) which probably indicates a slip of the mechanical riviter, which would identify this particular one as suspect.
