Looks like a Otto Schickle with large date - some times with brass core .
Not sure what that core is made of ?

I agree in it being an Otto Schickle; very nice too. Somewhere I read, if I remember right, this maker had nickel-plated iron cores and brass cores. To be able to identify which this has I would not know.
