Real or fake?

I have had the cross for about 30 years, but had forgotten it in a moving carton. Do not know anything about its history. Got it by a Polish guy who said it came from the war. I have been several times going to throw it because I did not understand its value. Is it possible to look at the pictures if it is genuine or false. Thanks for the help.
