                  No Andy ... proper and nice workmanship one finds on most of that lug type (mushroom lug) Juncker frames .
                  IMO to save time the assembly method was changed .
                  They started off with the jump ring melted into the frame on both sides . This made it hard to get the core in and squeeze the frame shut for soldering '
                  Quicker to melt the jump ring into the frame only on one side - insert the core and line up the other frame half - squeeze the jump ring closed and during frame soldering
                  then fill the ring to frame gap with solder . ... solder fill mostly located on the reverse side .
