Cased kvk opinions...?

I'd like to get some opinions on this cased kvk. To me it looks ok, but the case looks like it held something else due to the impression on the inside of the lid of the case...

Andy .. is that a "50" mm?

P.S. The case looks fine ... need to match that KVK to something

Hi Andy,

The case itself looks OK from the images, so does the cross, but the pin on the cross is very strange - possibly a replacement? Although if so, why maker marked? Not something I've seen before.

I was trying to find a match on Kai Winkler's site (as he has one of the best "selections" around) and couldn t get a match for the pin / or hinge assembly on any maker marked piece ... the "50" looks nothing like this one .. and I cant see any others with a 5x that comes close ... anywhere.

Thanks for the replies, the mm looks like 50 or 58 i can't tell for sure. The pin is concern as i have never seen one quite like it either. These are the only pictures i have.

As all you guys correctly recognised this is indeed by the looks a perfectly genuine box....more later in date of course than earlier without any specific's at this moment in time
