Hmmm, that does not look like any of the early scalloped date box examples I've seen to date. I'm inclined to think it's a repro.

Yes they seem similar (eagle head, swatiska, number...). What is the maker?

Boerger, look very closely at the tail feathers (between the legs) and you should see two feathers. Jim
