ID the fake DK...

I bought this fake German Cross, and after looking at real and fake examples on this site, I can’t identify if it’s a fake of a genuine one or if it’s a fantasy fake, based on the wreath folds on either side of the date...does anyone have an answer?

I know it’s fake - I bought it knowing that it’s fake - I’m not asking if it’s genuine.

I just want to know if it’s a fake OF a genuine one - perhaps I should simply ask the question thusly: do any genuine badges have the wreath structure shown in the picture?

I’m a bit surprised that I’ve only received one response to this thread...I paid like $35 shipped for the badge from a guy selling it as a fake, so, it’s FAKE! Is my question about it unreasonable or indecipherable or what? Feel free to PM me if you don’t want to post an answer.

I think he means that it is hard to say much from that picture, maybe someone could say more with pics of the complete badge, the reverse setup and enamel work

Please post pictures of the entire cross front and back and you will more likely get the answer you are seeking.
