              Hi,

That's funny - Sedlatzek is known to have their name on several pre-WW2 awards. I think they may have been at least a reseller. In fact, in Detlev's 1st catalogue there's a Sedlatzek stamped Spanish Cross. I'm pretty sure I've also seen the markings on Prussian EK1s and Turkish Eiserne Halbmond - maybe even a 1939 EK1.

How much is she asking for it? I'd be interested in it.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Personally, I think it is a good one but I'd really need to see clearer pics to make my mind up.

Well, the girl is putting medals from her grandfather on a selling-site one by one. She probably just goes for the money I suppose, altough she doesn't really know what its worth
I will try to provide you better pics.
                    Kind regards,

Pretty stupid to sell your grandfather's medals on the internet!

I would like to see close-ups of the eagles, the centre swaz and hinge, catch side-on.

I think it looks like an unmarked S&L. The hinge/pin/catch look typical for that maker.

I never handed such a cross marked Sedlatzek, but the cross itself looks convincing, not the best quality though. Better pics from the eagles front, the hook and close up of the MM. Indeed, Detlev's book show such a MM on a CEJ 900 marked cross. A collector from the forum own one too.

She has a problem with taking better pics, if she goes closer it gets fuzzy
Here are some more pics she tried to make from the side.
I think I will take this item and ask for garanty

(by the way, it will be a super bargain for those who think I have much money )
