        Hi Bob,

I mostly use my own examples for comparing, also I remembered over time how pieces of some manufacturers should look and what are theirs quite noticeable characteristics and in this case that characteristic is very thin pin at its bottom, so you can recognize Paul Maybauer EK1 because of that easily.

        Best regards,
        Franko

          Hi Franko,
Many thanks for your reply,I keep thinking i should buy books but everything is so damned expensive these days, that it leaves less money to buy the items referenced in them lol! I do have a great collection of original awards mostly bought either off WAF directly or by posting promising items for review but i'm still not confident enough to pull the trigger without getting the all clear here..

          Many thanks for your help,
          Bob

This is not even close to Klein und Quenzer, only similar is one type of Juncker EK1.

                Best regards,

                  Agreed. I don't think it's a Maybauer either.

Never thought it was a Meybauer. Just wanted to see how far out in left field this would go. Trevor brought clarity to things as usual.

Yep 65 for me too. Can’t tell the swaz from the shots, but same 1939 and pin/ clasp on the reverse.
