I'm currently on vacation and away from my books. I would really appreciate help with this KVK1.

I think I have seen this type before but can't remember if it is a genuine maker or a known fake.

Looks to be a post war Souval.

I agree, it is typical Souval postwar POS. This type of rare setup Souval has used on his postwar EK1 also, as you can see on that link below. Unfortunately this crap is very often for sale as genuine pieces, just like it was that EK1 on that website from that link below.
