EK2 part of a grouping round 3

This has been in my possession for a while, it is part of an SS grouping.Does the cross hatching on the EK2 necessarily mean a Juncker cross ? All comments appreciated.

SS Medal Grouping with shrapnel

Here is the grouping from which the EK 2 is a part. There is a tube with shrapnel
presumably from the recipients body.
