On the back side have a typical W&H flaw , IMO this is a W&H type

              Hi Sanya

Maybe you are right, maybe not , but such a flaw (or a very similar flaw) we meet in this place of frame, in EK2 crosses of several manufacturers: W&H, Rettenmaier's, Wiedmann's or Brehmer's ... IMO this particular flaw alone is not decisive in recognizing the producer. But this is only by the way and only IMO

In this case I stand corrected .
Jerek has a good point - more than one maker has similar looking flaws in that area .
Sanya suggestion is correct ..... we are actually looking at a W&H cross .
One side does not have that small flaw as the other side does . We have mixed production frames here .
Look/compare closely the 2 halves - one side has very few flaws as the other half has badly cracked top beading .
Just switching from one production die to a new one .... unavoidable not to find such mixed frames .- see comparison .
Rettenmaier does not have that bad top bead cracking .

Thank you for providing such valuable information. So in this case we can say we have three um, 109 crosses types?

Standard frame, #frame and mixed frame?
