unmarked ek 2 distinctive ends to ribbing

    unmarked ek 2 distinctive ends to ribbing

    have seen this type of ribbing before,where it joins to a point.that was on a cased ek 1. is there any manufacturer that this can be pinpointed to? it is quite distinctive,and different than most of the crosses posted in the gallery...

            Yeep a Souval Some time wen they are markt dealers tend to sell them as 86 markt, but it should be 98. I dont think 86 ever made EK´s, it´s a mix up whit Souval.

              The frames are from Souval. Remember that Souval shared their frames with other companys in Austria. The core of this cross does not look like the typical Souval core with fat swastika and dipping 3 in 1939.

                thanks guys..which maker in your opinion could this core be attributed to? did Souval supply many makers with frames? ring is unmarked

                  That core and date is a typical Souval to me.

                    Is the back side of the suspension ring soldered to the frame? Typically not on a '98' Souval.
