    Recommended Reference Books

    Hello, all

I am new to this forum, having recently discovered it.

Long been a student of this period of history, and in particular, the aircraft, armor, uniforms, etc of the Third Reich.

In regards to the EK, what reference books would you recommend for a good overview of history and manufacturing of EK?

It is fascinating that members here can look at an EK, and determine manufacturer with a degree of certainty. I would really be interested in learning those subtleties.

    Thanks

Can only agree with the others. Dietrichs book is the way to go and i truly recommend it.

If you are not discouraged by german, you can have a look at "Frank Thater Das Eiserne Kreuz 1. Klasse von 1939". I dont have it myself but it does look quite comprehensive.

          Happy reading.

I have the book (s) from Frank Thater (Two parts) "Das Eiserne Kreuz 1. Klasse von 1939" and from Maerz and Stimson "The Iron Cross 1 .Class". I can recommend both
