Thats great info but do you have any reference or anything to explain this?
Too often these comments are not much help and the example linked has no resemblance whatsoever to this one.

It would be good to see what you are talking about.
            Cheers

Members work and learn differently .
I start with the mind set that every cross as a fake until I am can prove to myself it is not .
A lot of fine and not so fine details to look out for ... it takes time to identify the unique features of some crosses .
A "cross-library " by maker helps to set up so you compare with .

Some fakes have evolved and improved greatly and have different variations - all trying to catch collectors off guard .
The draw back is that fakers read these posts also and try to correct the faults we find !!!

This is a good read :

War time Souval crosses are a challenge and what makes things difficult is that he continued making crosses after the war also .

              Some comparisons :

Hmmm, still not seeing the proof positive match that this one fits into your examples. Obviously its not a one of a kind so would be great to see another identical one confirmed fake....?

Wondering also where this one would fit into this reference?

Yes obviously, but what I am saying is that everything you say about my sample could be said about this ORTH. So I am still very puzzled with this provided info.

My question first started with the stamp, yet no one has suggested anything regarding it. There must be another MM like this out there somewhere?
                        Real or Copy....
For me that would be the best place to start.
Thus far I'm not really gaining anything from this as I am not seeing clearly any of your points...cheers
