    EK2 1939 Over Size 47x47mm

    Hello,

Is it possible to order this oversized ek from a manufacturer?
There are I think 3 different style
Here is one that has not been cut.

    The condition is very nice!
    The EK is for Sale!
    Thank you for opinions

The one I'd love to get without the cut out corners. Fascinating pieces.

          Hi Palstek :
Nice full corner Ni-alloy full size 1st frame and UB core UB . Do you have a color picture of it ?

The types we find are :
starting with - 2 - production dies .... ---> The Chipped corner and the Cracked corner :
The Chipped corner shows up on the 1st frame die only and was used the most !IMO approx. 80 to 20 ratio-- 1st to 2nd frame

          Several variations to each frame type exist ;

          Chipped corner :
Silver frame - full size with filled inside corners - UB core : mega rare

Ni-alloy frame - full size with and with out filled inside corners - rare

Size reduced Ni-alloy frames with full and filled corners and machine stamp cut or hand filled down frames
I have so far only come across size reduced UB crosses made from the 1st or chipped production die .
The size reduced frames are found with UB and regular EK cores .

          Cracked corner :
So far only Ni-alloy - full size frames with full and filled inside corners have been found
and have not seen any size reduced frames of this frame type .

Also for both frames types numerous filled and not filled front and back combinations exist .

          Regards Douglas
