The low 3 in 1939 date is always the biggest trait that shows its Souval, never seen one with that finish. Looks to have been refinished.

Actually the photos do not do justice for the finish, it is a nice bright finish. Thanks to everyone for confirming who made the cross. Jim

Looks to have been stored well as only now is patina forming on the flanges.

It‘s a postwar mid production period Souval RK. It shows all the typical trades - including the frame errors while still having a quite nice finish.
The difference in quality becomes more obvious however, when comparing it to an early production Souval RK with frosted frame and no flaws etc.
