Nothing special with case or ribbon. Typical early, rounded corners case with "mushroom" button.

very nice cross Ludwig, thanks for showing. Is the recipient known?

These type appears with two types of paint, a glossy and a matt one. So the paint is absolutey all right IMO. I prefer the glossy paint and I also need to say that I have never seen a more beautiful 3/4 Öse!

I have seen them with "800" mark on the reverse as well but the marks never convinced me so the textbbook piece for me is always unmarked. It should be noted that the textbook ribbon-loop of these crosses should look like just like the one on ludwig's piece which is a little bit longer compared to other Sprungringe and is (usually) slightly bend inwards at the tip. The Sprungring's material can be made of chopper or Buntmetall.

This cross is anonymous, I´m afraid. The loop is marked 800, so it´s possible it has been replaced. Impossible to know, IMO.

Nice to see, that at least some fellow collectors understand the rarity of this kind of KC!
I have got some PMs with offers from people who obviously think 3/4s are cheaper than, for example, K & Qs...

Anyway, it would be nice to see some other 3/4s!

Ludwig, here's mine. it the original award case with the larger inset to accommodate the larger, wider 50mm ribbon.
